That's not because nobody has tried. It's because a founder raises once every 12 to 24 months. No startup-CRM company can survive a customer who opens the app for eight weeks and then shuts it for two years, so the market never formed.
So instead founders are forced to improvise: a scraped spreadsheet to find investors, Calendly to book them, DocSend for the deck, Notion pretending to be a CRM, a Gmail label doing the work of a pipeline, DocuSign at the end. A cacophony of tools that have never heard of each other being forced to dance together.
Bottom Line: Founders waste days of time wrestling through fund raises because no good tools exist.
One place where the target, the committed total and the weighted pipeline are the same number everyone is working from.
A directory of 2,500+ investors, filtered to the ones who actually back companies like yours — and the warm path to reach them.
The funnel maintains itself. Bookings, replies, and data-room visits move the cards without you touching them.
So, think of The Rising Tide Fund Raise Machine as the better-looking step-child of a polyamorous marriage between PitchBook, DocSend, Calendly, a real fundraise CRM, Boardy — and, shortly, DocuSign. We took only the parts a founder actually needs and unified them:
Filter by industry, tags, geography, stage and seniority. Every firm carries a dossier — focus, cheque size, portfolio, and the individual partners with their own focus areas.
Crucially: which of them you have a warm path to, and through whom.
Because this is 7 tools unified in a single platform, you don't need to reenter information multiple times. One company profile, one founder profile, one set of files in your data room, one set of booking links...
Committed capital and weighted pipeline against target, a stage-by-stage breakdown, what needs you today, upcoming meetings with join links, and who's been in the data room.
Cards move as replies land, meetings get booked and data rooms get opened. Every investor sits in a lane — yours or Marina's — and weighted pipeline is computed from stage probability.
Hosted data room materials including the usual (PDF presentations, excel files) with per-document, per-page viewership stats. But tightly integrated to the CRM so if new investors hit your link they appear in your funnel; if investors read the deck you get a reminder to ping them...
A live booking page with all the bells and whistles (Google Meet, Zoom, Teams links; auto-sync with Google Calendar...)
Plus, it actually talks to your funnel - book a meeting and your funnel CRM knows about it.
Document signing is not shipped yet — today the raise runs end-to-end right up to signature. When it lands, the round closes without leaving the machine.
Screens show sample data. The company, founders, investors, firm names and portraits in every screenshot on this page are invented for illustration. They do not depict a Rising Tide customer, portfolio company, investor relationship or result.
Marina is RTFRM's introduction engine. Not a chatbot in the corner — a colleague who starts from the materials you already made, rather than a form you have to fill in.
Which is the difference between generic AI outreach and outreach that knows your gross margin. Marina can draft and hand the email back to you, or run the whole approach and loop you in once there's a meeting in the diary.
But you're always in control - per-investor decisions as to who handles outreach (you or Marina), and she'll always defer to you if she gets questions she can't handle.
Rising Tide doesn't sell founders software; our returns come from founders doing well. So overbuilding a fundraising suite — putting real capital into making it genuinely the best there is — and then charging nothing for it isn't generosity. It's self-interest.
If our founders raise more, from better investors, with less friction, we do well. That's the whole business case. So we built the thing the market wouldn't.
The Rising Tide Fund Raise Machine is in Beta and invite-only
Free to Rising Tide founders · Beta
Rising Tide founders. It's invite-only while it's in Beta — a Rising Tide admin turns your account on, which is what "Request Access" starts.
Nothing. We're not a SaaS company and we don't make money selling founders tools — we make money when founders succeed. There's no pricing page because it will always be free.
No. There's no mailbox access on the fundraising path at all. The funnel updates because you BCC a tracking address on the emails you choose and CC it on calendar invites. Google Calendar access is free/busy only — when you're occupied, never what you're doing — plus writing the invite for a booking you've confirmed.
RTFRM's AI introduction engine. Marina reads your data room to understand your company, suggests investors that fit on sector, stage and geography, drafts outreach in your voice for you to send — or sends it directly and loops you in once a meeting is booked — and digs through the Rising Tide founder network for a warm path to the investor you want.
2,500+ investors and growing, covering both firms and the individual partners inside them, filterable by industry, tags, geography, stage and seniority.
